Sparks Developments is the dream and vision of Dr. Clinton Lee Sparks who saw the potential of Horace way back in the 1990’s when he purchased the land. Dr. Sparks, along with his wife Bernadine (Luther) Sparks, were both born and raised in North Dakota. They began taking steps to develop the land in Horace in the late 1990’s, and they planted approximately 3,000 trees around the perimeter.

Unfortunately, Clinton and Bernadine were never able to realize their dreams of developing their land. Fast forward 25 years, and their son Lee Clinton Sparks, along with his wife, Nancy Sparks have joined forces with Jack Dwyer and his team to develop a beautifully planned community that will provide a variety of home designs and options for buyers and much needed amenities for local residents.

As a tribute to Lee’s parents, two of the main thoroughfares through the development will be named Sparks Boulevard and Luther Avenue as well as two smaller side streets named Clinton Street and Bernadine Way.

With input from residents, city council members, and city staff, Lee and Nancy hope to create a community inspired development in the heart of Horace.
